A down payment of $500.00, which is applied toward
your retainer, is required to reserve your wedding
date. Half of the remaining retainer for your
wedding plan is due midpoint between the date
of reservation and your wedding date. The balance
of the retainer is due in full, (sales tax will
be applied at that time) four weeks before the
wedding. In the event of postponement or cancellation
of the wedding, the payments applied are not refundable.
Payment will not be accepted the day of the wedding.
If payment has not been paid in full 4 weeks before
the wedding day, the contract is null and void,
and all fees collected will be retained by Olson’s
Photography as liquidated damages for consultation
times, maintenance of stock, etc. A consultation
is required within a month of reserving the date
with data information completed.
A retainer is the money that has been set aside
with Olson’s Photography for the purchase
of portraits. Having a minimum amount required
for the bridal album ensures you will receive
a beautiful album telling the whole story of your
wedding day. This also means no duplicate photographs
in the album. Prices are subject to change.
The time that we spend at your wedding will start
at the “agreed upon starting time”
as stated in our contract. Generally, we arrive
up to a half hour early to set up our equipment,
and get ready for your day. You are not charged
for the extra time. Because we take an unlimited
number of photographs at your wedding, the only
factor that will limit the number of photographs
is time. Therefore, to insure full coverage of
your wedding, it is to your advantage to have
members of the wedding party and family members
dressed and ready, with flowers on, for the “agreed
upon starting time”. Be sure that you use
the photography time to its fullest. We will need
a minimum of 2 hours, uninterrupted time, to capture
your wedding photographs.
At the wedding, the photographer will take an
unlimited number of photographs for your approval.
If you have any requests for photographs, merely
tell us. We will be happy to help you. Please,
do not give us a list of photographs to be taken,
tell us during your pre-wedding consultation.
The photographs that you see in our sample albums
are an accurate representation of what you can
expect us to take at your wedding, however, because
all weddings are different, we cannot guarantee
that every pose will be taken at your wedding.
All negative, reproductions, and use, thereof,
are received by Olson’s Photography for
all purposes. The copying of photographs taken
by Olson’s Photography is illegal. They
are protected by the copyright laws of the United
States of America. Previews are the property of
the studio until purchased ($2,700 value).
The orders will be processed when both the wedding
album and all other orders have been turned in
and paid in full. These orders cannot be placed
at different times until after the initial 8 week
order process. Only individual family portraits
(not any other groupings) can be handled separately
by sending us a $10 deposit. After delivery has
been made, you have fourteen days to make sure
all photographs are satisfactory. Your satisfaction
is guaranteed!
First 40 miles driven at no charge. $.35 per mile
thereafter. If over 120 miles traveled, expenses
will be quoted.
With the Heirloom and Heritage Plans, we would
really appreciate being able to eat, simultaneously
to the Bride and Groom, so we can maintain our
energy levels. If we are seated close by, we can
capture any spontaneous activities. We thank you
